The results of the first stage pre-qualification

The Commission finalized short listed consortiums.
In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Public-Private Partnership” and the MNE Rules of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 725, on August 29, 2018, the first stage of the international open two-stage bidding was announced to determine the private partner for the project “Construction of a light rail transit line in Almaty”.
After examining the submitted documentation by the bidders for compliance with the qualification requirements, the results of the qualification selection were submitted to the Commission for finalizing short listed consortiums.
On January 18, 2019, the Commission identified potential private partners that passed qualifying selection and admitted them as bidders. The table shows a list of consortiums allowed to participate in the second stage of the international open bidding according to the decision of the Commission.
